Language coaching

Facilitating language learning and acquisition with a coaching approach. Self-confidence boosting through topics of personal interest, which then leads to greater motivation in language skills development in other topics, too.

How is language coaching, i.e. language facilitation different from language teaching? In short, the latter is a process where the teacher explains language forms to the student and teaches them efficient and effective language learning methods and practices.

In the former process the language coach motivates the learner and inspires them to find methods and language learning practices which best suit their personality, lifestyle and the language learning goal they have set at the beginning of the process.

It is important that this goal is a SMART goal, i.e. precisely formulated, achievable and time-bound. The language coach holds the learners’ hand, but does not offer ready-made solutions, rather tries to inspire the learner to find the best possible solution to study language(s) independently.
